Most teamwork pain comes less from missing tools than from scattered information. You take a day off and return to hundreds of messages. A decision was made in some thread and nobody remembers where. Those are the places AI can help, when used well.
Catching up faster
Summaries are the simplest useful application of AI. Instead of rereading a whole conversation, you read a few lines on what was agreed and what is still open, then go deeper if needed.
Finding what was said
Keyword search requires remembering the exact words. Natural language search lets you ask “what did the team decide about the budget last week?” and get an answer with sources you can check.
Writing and translating faster
For teams working in both Vietnamese and English, drafting and translating inside the conversation removes many small steps. The sender should still read it before pressing send.
What still needs people
AI can summarize incorrectly or miss nuance. Important decisions still need a human check, AI-generated content should be clearly labelled, and AI should only access what the user is allowed to see. These are also the principles we set for building AI into Mono.
